Armed Robbers Target WeHa Liquor Store: Police
The West Hartford PD Monday issued surveillance images of the suspects wanted in connection with a liquor store armed robbery Saturday.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police Monday said they're still probing a Saturday night armed robbery and assault at a West Hartford liquor store, releasing images of the two male suspects.
According to the West Hartford Police Department, officers at 7:21 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, were called to City Line Liquor, 595 Prospect Ave., West Hartford, for a reported armed robbery.
Police said two males entered the store and ordered money from the cash register at gunpoint. \

A black pistol was displayed by one of the suspects and, during the robbery, an employee was pepper sprayed and punched in the face.
The employee sustained minor injuries as a result of this incident and, police said, another employee present was also suffered minor injuries.

One suspect was described as a Black male wearing black pants, a black jacket, black shoes, and a black mask.
The second suspect was described as a Black male wearing blue jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt,
black shoes, and a blue mask.
Police said the suspects fled the area after stealing an undisclosed amount of money.
According to the WHPD, they were last seen leaving in a white, four-door sedan with dark-colored wheels and tinted windows.
