  • Bryant University is pleased to recognize the students from West Hartford who have been named to the Deans' List for the fall 2019 semester.   • Roughly 1,000 students were named to the fall 2019 Dean's List at Curry College, including two West Hartford residents: Kate McDermott, a Studio Arts major and member of the Class of 2021, and Cotdell Tuning, a Biology major and member of the Class of 2020. To earn a place on the list, full-time undergraduate students - those who carry 12 or more graded credits per semester - must earn a 3.3 grade-point-average (GPA) or higher.

Hamilton College, Clinton NY

  • Kayla Golden, of West Hartford, was recently elected to the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Hamilton College. Phi Beta Kappa, which established a chapter at Hamilton in 1870, is the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the country. Students are elected to membership in recognition of their exceptional academic achievement in fulfilling the goals and purposes of the college. Golden, a senior majoring in art and classics, is a graduate of Conard High School.

Saint Francis University, Loretto PA

  • Anderson Murphy, Health Science PA major from West Hartford, was named to the President's List at Saint Francis University. Murphy was among more than 700 students who earned a spot on one of the honors lists for the fall 2019 semester. Students who receive an honors distinction must have full-time status and attain a quality point average of 4.000 (President's) or 3.500 (Dean's) on 12 or more credits during a single semester, with no continuing or incomplete grades.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT
