Artists Will Swarm West Hartford To Transform Road Barriers
Three roads will be closed in town Saturday morning to help artists do their work.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The roadway barriers that divide area businesses with traffic at West Hartford commercial hotspots are getting a major makeover this Saturday.
According to the Town of West Hartford, 13 artists chosen by the West Hartford Art League will be tranforming the barriers into colorful works of art.
Work will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 20, and last until 1 p.m., according to the town.

As a result Memorial Road (Blue Back Square), LaSalle Road (West Hartford Center) and Farmington Avenue (West Hartford Center) will be closed so the creative can create.
The road will actually be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Meanwhile, town officials also announced that a Pride Flag seen on Isham Road will be repainted at a later date, weather permitting.
