Beer Festival This Weekend To Support West Hartford History
The 11th annual Real Ale Beer Festival will bring 20-plus breweries, special cask creations, and live music to West Hartford this weekend.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — More than 20 local breweries will gather at the Noah Webster House Saturday for an annual fundraiser featuring specially created cask ales, live music and beer tastings.
The Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society will host its 11th annual Real Ale Beer Festival & Cask Challenge on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 227 South Main St.
For the competition, participating brewers were challenged to develop special cask creations incorporating at least one ingredient that could have been found in Noah Webster's 18th-century garden or pantry.

The festival lineup includes breweries from across Connecticut, with the event flyer listing breweries including New England Brewing Co., New Park Brewing, Counter Weight Brewing, Dead Language Beer Project, Back East Brewing, Nod Hill Brewery, Transcend Beer Crafters and others.
The event will also feature live music by Martin Piggot.

General admission includes unlimited beer tastings, access to the exclusive cask beers, live music, and admission to the Noah Webster House. Food will be available for purchase.
Proceeds benefit the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society, the nonprofit organization that has operated Webster's birthplace since 1965.
