Beloved 'Seinfeld' Actor To Perform In West Hartford
The man with the recognizable voice will perform his 90-minute show, 'A Man With Standards' on Sunday, Oct. 27. Tickets are on sale now.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — 'Seinfeld' fans will remember actor John O'Hurely's hysterical portrayal of Elaine Benes' boss J. Peterman of the J. Peterman Co. Catalog fame back in the 1990s.
And now, the award-winning actor and West Hartford native will perform right in his hometown later this month with his own, one-man show "A Man With Standards."
O'Hurely will be at Playhouse on Park, 244 Park Road, West Hartford, on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m. for his 90-minute show that will feature both music and musings on his long, diverse career.

From Seinfeld to Spongebob, O'Hurley's distinctive voice is a well-known commodity to young and old alike.

"A Man With Standards," according to Playhouse on Park, is a retrospective of the songs in "The Great American Songbook" along with stories from his "eclectic life and career."
"Both humorous and poignant, the show brings back the sounds of nostalgia in the voice of one of America's greatest storytellers," wrote Playhouse.
O’Hurely is best known as “J. Peterman” on “Seinfeld” and he won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his work on the iconic comedy, which catapulted him to stardom.
Most recently he won Best Actor at the NY Television Festival for his performance in the title role of “ The Tramp.”
Fans of another beloved TV show will remember O'Hurely won the first season of “Dancing with the Stars" on ABC.
He was, even, named among People Magazine’s, “Sexiest Men Alive” issues.
O’Hurley is the regular host of NBC Sports “The National Dog Show presented by Purina,” a 20-year-old Thanksgiving tradition as well as The Beverly Hills Dog Show airing on NBC in spring.
He was also host of the popular game shows “Family Feud” and "To Tell The Truth.”
Of course, children will also recognize his voice as he is King Neptune on “SpongeBob SquarePants” and was the mayor on Disney’s hit “Phineas and Ferb.”
Patron tickets are $50 for reserved seating; VIP Tickets are $100 and include a post-performance reception with O’Hurely.
