Big High School Jazz Show Starts Friday In West Hartford
Tickets are on sale now for Hall High School's annual 'Pops 'n Jazz' production this weekend and the following weekend.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Hall High School's celebrated music department is hosting a special, two-weekend production of its annual "Pops 'n Jazz" production.
The show starts on Friday, March 21, and continues on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23.
Then, next week, the shows will resume on Thursday, March 27, and continue on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29.

All shows are at Hall High School, 975 N. Main St., West Hartford.
Show times are at 7 p.m. except for a 1 p.m. matinee show on Sunday, March 23.

"You can experience the talents of Hall High School's acclaimed jazz bands, singers, and dancers at their upcoming 67th annual Pops 'n Jazz production," wrote event organizers.
Hall High School Pops 'n Jazz features more than 100 student performers from the school's Concert Jazz Band, Jazz Band II, Jazz Dancers, Choraliers (singers), Giovani Solisti (string players) and acting program.
"The program, which varies slightly each night, provides an array of American jazz classics from all eras, performed in big band and combo settings, highly choreographed jazz productions, and featured solo performances," according to the school
Pops 'n Jazz plays to an estimated 4,000 over five usually sold-out performances.
Organizers called it "a West Hartford tradition that has continued to be a source of school and community pride for more than six decades."
