Bottoms Up: WeHa Firefighters To Host Beer-Tasting For A Cause

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local firefighters are brewing up a special fundraiser on Saturday that will not only provide a fun night out for the community but help those suffering from a serious neurological disease.

West Hartford Firefighters Local 1241 is hosting a beer-sampling event on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 1 to 5 p.m. to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

This year, the event will be held at 45 South Main Street — which is right across from West Hartford Town Hall,

There is free parking available in the town hall parking lot, with a $25 donation requested to sample beer from several beer distributors.

Participants must be 21 years old and have a valid ID.

In addition to beer, there will be live music and food available for purchase.
