Bullets Strike Restaurant In West Hartford: UPDATE

Police are continuing to investigate after several shots were fired into the front of the restaurant.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating after bullet holes were found in the window at Zaytoon’s Bistro at 165 Park Road in West Hartford. Police originally received a 911 text at about 3:45 a.m. from a side street off Park Road on a report of shots fired. The text reported that the incident occurred about 35 minutes earlier, according to Lt. Eric Rocheleau. Police checked the area but didn’t find anything.

At about 10 a.m., the owner of the Zaytoon’s Restaurant called to report damage to his property that was believed to be from bullet holes. Officers and detectives responded to the scene and confirmed that the damage had been done by several shots fired into the front of the business, according to Rocheleau.

“Detectives processed the scene and are working with the Park Rd. Businesses Association and area business to develop leads and video from the incident,” Rocheleau said in an email.
