Cable Company Opens Unprecedented Second West Hartford Store

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Comcast has opened a new Xfinity retail store in West Hartford's Bishops Corner shopping district, providing local customers with a second location for in-person service and support.

The new store is located at 345 North Main St., Suite 110.

According to the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce, the opening makes West Hartford the only community in the state with two Xfinity retail stores.

Local business leaders and town officials celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday.

In a social media post announcing the opening, the chamber said it joined local leaders, Chamber members and Comcast representatives in celebrating the new location.

The Bishops Corner store offers customers access to a range of Comcast services, including equipment returns, bill payments through self-service kiosks, device purchases and demonstrations of Xfinity products and services.

Customers can shop for internet plans, upgrade service speeds, pick up or return equipment, and receive assistance with account management.

The store also offers support for Xfinity Mobile, including phone purchases, SIM card activation and service transfers.

In addition, visitors can explore Comcast's television and entertainment offerings, including the Xfinity X1 platform and Voice Remote, as well as Xfinity Home smart home and security products.

The new location joins Comcast's existing West Hartford store at 1253 New Britain Ave., which will continue serving customers alongside the Bishops Corner site.
