- Emmanuel College has named Sarah Hoisl of West Hartford to the Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

- Kayla Golden of West Hartford was awarded a grant from The Steven Daniel Smallen Memorial Fund at Hamilton College. The Fund is designed to encourage creativity among Hamilton students by providing funds for projects displaying originality, expressiveness, and imagination. Golden will use the award for a sculpture project illustrating "the concept of viewing oneself through the eyes of others, showing that the individual experiences that make up our lives create something beautiful and unique when viewed as a whole." Golden, a senior majoring in art and classics, is a graduate of Conard High School.
Tufts University, Medford MA
- Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the fall 2019 semester, including George Baldwin, Ellis Brown, Alex Chon-Kang and Emily Tong, all of West Hartford. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

- Hayley Marie Lemke of West Hartford was named to the University of Alabama Presidents List for fall 2019. A total of 12,050 students enrolled during the 2019 fall term at UA were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).
University of Hartford, West Hartford CT
- Work by some of the University of Hartford's most talented art students were selected for this year's Goldfarb Juried Student Exhibition. The exhibition, which runs through Feb. 20 in the Joseloff Gallery, represents a variety of disciplines. The gallery is located on the UHart campus at 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford. West Hartford students whose works were chosen were Lily Eckert and Isabella Rios.
Western New England University, Springfield MA
- Michaela McCormick has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the fall 2019 semester. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. McCormick is exploring a degree in Business.
- Western New England University congratulates more than 730 students named to the fall 2019 Dean's List. Charles O. Lucyk of West Hartford is working toward a BS in Computer Science, and Joshua Thomas Nelson of West Hartford is exploring a degree in Business.
