James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA
- West Hartford resident Shannon Ledwith has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the fall 2019 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Ledwith is majoring in media arts and design.
Lasell University, Newton MA

- Josh Wolmer, a Communication major from West Hartford, is one of Lasell University's DJs on its Newton-based radio station, WLAS (102.9FM). Wolmer hosts "Laser Show Sports" two days a week., and is also a sports announcer.
Manchester Community College, Manchester CT
- Yalismarie Colon and Jacqueline Haythorn, both of West Hartford, were named to the CEO's List for the fall 2019 semester. This recognizes the exceptional scholarship of full- and part-time students who earn a 4.0 or “A” grade point average in their courses. Full-time students who have completed at least 12 credits for the semester with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in the semester are eligible for this honor.
- West Hartford residents Tiangye Aguilar, Ricardo Almeida, William Baker, Jessica Booth, Jason Devin, Victoria Howard, Anna Koogler, Rudney Pinto and Melvin Rojas are part-time students named to the CEO's List for the fall 2019 semester. Part-time students who have earned a 4.0 GPA with no withdrawals or incompletes in the semester, and have accumulated 12 credits at MCC, are eligible for the Part-Time CEO’s List.
- The fall 2019 Dean's List includes West Hartford residents Nikunj Bhimani, Hannah Castineiras, Yassmine Chefchaouni, Shannon Genero, Kyle Gordon, Manju Gurung, Taylor Hyde, Jesse Judd, Marissa Marinan, Anson Melick, Luis Mota and Jonathan Rosenfield. Full-time students enrolled in 12 credits or more and who have earned a GPA of 3.4 with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in that semester are eligible for the Dean’s List. Part-time students are eligible for recognition with the same criteria when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher. They may be subsequently recognized at successive 12-credit intervals.
Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

- The following West Hartford residents made the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2019 fall semester: James Oakes, mechanical engineering; Michael Driscoll, software engineering; Rebecca Fried, computing security; and Isaias Villalobos, computer science. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Stonehill College, Easton MA
- Two students from West Hartford were named to the fall 2019 Dean's List at Stonehill College: Daniela Moran, Class of 2020, and Lucia Paul, Class of 2023. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.
Tufts University, Medford MA
- Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the fall 2019 semester. Among students earning dean's list honors are West Hartford residents Chloe Amaya, Catherine Ding, Caroline Gingold, Samuel Volpe, George Baldwin, Ellis Brown, Alex Chon-Kang and Emily Tong. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
