Adelphi University, Garden City NY

• Ethan Bravin of West Hartford graduated from Adelphi University at commencement ceremonies on May 19 at NYCB Live: Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Bravin earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Graduation honors included Cum Laude, Bernard & Marilyn Klainberg Nursing Award and Sigma Theta Tau (Nursing Honorary).

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Roger Williams University is proud to announce that Brian Santoro, of West Hartford, graduated with a B.S. in Construction Management in May as part of the Class of 2019.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• At the University of Rhode Island's 133rd Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, 2019, about 3,400 undergraduate and 740 graduate students became the University's newest alumni. Graduates from West Hartford were Monique Renee Guidry, Bachelor of Science Economics Cum Laude; Mimi Christine Lichacz, Bachelor of Science Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design; and Sam Joseph Turner, Bachelor of Arts Communication Studies Cum Laude. Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3.
