Bates College, Lewiston ME
- Megan Seymour of West Hartford has received 2018-19 NESCAC Spring All-Academic honors. The daughter of Mr. and Ms. Jonathan Ely Seymour, she is a 2016 graduate of Middlesex School. She is majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish at Bates. Seymour, a member of the women's track & field team, is one of 68 students from Bates College's spring sports teams who received the honor from the New England Small College Athletic Conference. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 (raised from 3.40 a year ago).

- In an outdoor ceremony May 26, 462 degrees were awarded to members of Colby's Class of 2019 at the College's 198th Commencement. Award-winning television writer David E. Kelley told graduates to reject a career that is "not so terrible" and instead pursue what will make them truly fulfilled. Colby President David A. Greene handed a diploma to each of the graduates.
Helen W. Chavey, who majored in government, attended Hall High School and is the daughter of Mark and Victoria Chavey. Sara A. Pipernos, who majored in environmental science and French studies, attended Loomis Chaffee School and is the daughter of Gillies Pipernos and Patricia Pipernos-Schatz.
Plymouth State University, Plymouth NH
- Molly Daigle of West Hartford. a Marketing major, was among 837 students named to the Plymouth State University President's List for the spring 2019 semester. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.
University of Iowa, Iowa City IA

- Lisa Brody of West Hartford was one of more than 4,800 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at the University of Iowa who recently participated in graduation ceremonies. She received a degree in AUD-Speech Pathology and Audiology. The UI's spring 2019 graduates had an average cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.16 on a 4.0 scale. In addition, 16 percent of the graduating class graduated with multiple majors and 355 undergraduates graduated with honors.
Valdosta State University, Valdosta GA
- Alysha Williams of West Hartford has earned a spot on the spring 2019 Dean's List at Valdosta State University. Students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the Dean's List.
