Becker College, Worcester MA

• Josh Kozun , of West Hartford, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Media Design, Computer Game Design Concentration from Becker College.

Drew University, Madison NJ

• Molly Bohman of West Hartford earned a degree from Drew University at its 2019 Commencement.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's Business Administration Department held its annual Alpha Mu Alpha National Marketing Honor Society induction on April 23 in the Johnson Room of the J. Eugene Smith Library. Among the inductees was Michelle Brook of West Hartford, who majors in Business Administration.
• Eastern Connecticut State University's Business Administration Department held its annual Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society induction on April 23 in the Johnson Room of the J. Eugene Smith Library. Among the inductees were West Hartford residents Hannah Beazoglou, who majors in Business Administration; Zoe Buntz, who majors in Business Administration and Economics; and Angel Wu, who majors in Accounting. To Qualify for Delta Mu Delta, members must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 in the business administration major and be in the top 20 percent of their junior or senior class.
• More than 200 Eastern Connecticut State University students of African, Latino, Asian and Native American (ALANA) descent were honored on May 9 at the 2019 Inclusive Excellence Awards. All students who were honored achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.5. An additional 11 students were recognized for demonstrating exemplary co-curricular engagement at Eastern.
  Among the honored with Academic Excellence Awards were West Hartford residents David Bekele, who majors in Biology; Joselyn Clark, who majors in Biology; and Angel Wu, who majors in Accounting.

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the spring 2019 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List. Honorees from West Hartford are Isabella Falkovich, Kayla Staley and Tiffany Wang.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Four West Hartford residents graduated from Ithaca College in May 2019. Margaret Jamin graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Clinical Health Studies; Julia Leone graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology; William Witter graduated with a BS in Business Administration; and Christopher Murphy graduated with a BS in Business Administration.
• Ithaca College congratulates a pair of West Hartford students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. They are Lydia Loiselle, a Biology major, and Caroline Grant, a Business Administration major.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA

• West Hartford resident Shannon Flynn Ledwith has been named to the president's list at James Madison University for the spring 2019 semester. Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above. Ledwith is majoring in Media Arts and Design.

State University of New York, New Paltz NY

• SUNY New Paltz is proud to congratulate Elena Filson of West Hartford for being named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. Dean's List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Eilish Anne Flaherty of West Hartford received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Alabama, among some 5,716 degrees awarded during spring commencement May 3-5.

University of Delaware, Newark DE

• Erin Bellucci, Alexandra Burns, Maureen Farrell, Shayna Fiedler, Claire O'Shea, Maeve O'Shea, Jordan Scrimgeour, Hannah Weisenberg and Bridget Williams, all of West Hartford, have been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.
