Colgate University, Hamilton NY

• Two students from West Hartford who received term grade point averages of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade during the spring 2019 semester earned the Dean's Award with Distinction. Jonathan Aguilera is a graduate of Conard High School and a member of the Colgate Class of 2021. Bonnie Steinberg is a graduate of Kingswood-Oxford School and a member of the Colgate Class of 2021.
• Grace Crosson, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2021, has earned the spring 2019 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence. Crosson is from West Hartford and is a graduate of Watkinson School. Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses earn the spring 2019 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University student Hannah Beazoglou of West Hartford was recently selected as one of 25 scholars nationwide to receive a regional award from Delta Mu Delta (DMD), the international honor society for business. Beazoglou majors in Business Administration and was the only awardee from Connecticut. To be considered for a regional award, one must be a member of DMD, complete an application and submit two letters of recommendation from faculty members to support their candidacy.
