Candle Vigil Held in West Hartford for Nepal Earthquake Victims

The Nepalse Association of Connecticut is raising funds for the earthquake-ravaged country.

Hundreds of members of Connecticut’s Nepalese community gathered in West Hartford to hold a candlelight vigil for victims of the earthquake that struck the country.

The Nepalese Association of Connecticut is raising funds for victims through a PayPal account, according to Fox CT.

The 7.8 magnitude earthquake killed more than 2,500 people. Landslides and other obstacles are making it difficult to get aid to those in need, according to the Hartford Courant.
