Car Burglar Found Hiding Under Deck: West Hartford Police
An alert resident reported a person walking up and down driveways and looking into cars early Monday morning, according to police.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A suspected car burglar was arrested after police found him hiding under a deck in a backyard early Monday morning. Police responded to Sequin Road at about 1:20 a.m. on July 2 on the report of a person walking up and down driveways and looking into cars.
The arriving officer saw a man, matching the suspect’s description, standing motionless in the driveway of 15 Sequin Road, according to police. The officer attempted to make contact with the suspect, who then ran into the backyard, police wrote in the report.
Police established a perimeter and were able to locate the suspect hiding under a deck behind 17 Sequin Road, according to the report. In addition to the car burglary, police were also able to link the suspect to a recovered stolen vehicle that was found on Sequin Road.

Neftali Bruno-Pablon, 30, of Sigourney Street in Hartford, was arrested on charges of third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, third-degree larceny, sixth-degree larceny, interfering with officers and simple trespass. He was held on a $2,500 surety bond.
