Car Bursts Into Flames After Crash In West Hartford

Firefighters extinguished the blaze on Sunday.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A car burst into flames after crashing into a tree Sunday in West Hartford. The driver sustained minor injuries in the crash, which occurred on Buena Vista Road, according to fire officials.

“Yesterday, members of Engine 5 and Quint 3 handled a single car MVC on Buena Vista Road, that had become well involved in fire,” the Professional Firefighters of West Hartford-IAFF Local 1241 wrote in a post on Facebook. “West Hartford Firefighters and Paramedics evaluated the occupant who had sustained minor injuries.”
