Card Skimmer Found at West Hartford Gas Station Pump
Police said the skimmer steals credit card information from patrons.
WEST HARTFORD, CT - A card skimmer was found at a Sunoco station in West Hartford, NBC Connecticut reported.
The skimmer was found in one of the machines at the Sunoco on New Britain Avenue, according to the NBC Connecticut. Police said the skimmer steals credit card information from patrons.
The skimmer was found after employees and customers noticed the machine was not working, and called in a technician to fix it, NBC Connecticut reported. Employees suspect that the skimmer was inserted sometime overnight when the gas station is closed.
