Cast Announced for Jesse Eisenberg's The Revisionist

The cast for The Revisionist at Playhouse on Park has been announced! The
Off-Broadway hit play by Jesse Eisenberg, star of The Social Network
and frequent contributor to The New Yorker, sees its New England
Premiere at the Playhouse from April 11-29.

In this comedic drama, a young science fiction writer named David
journeys to Poland to stay with his 75-year-old second cousin, Maria, a
widowed Holocaust survivor. While David is searching for a quiet space
to unblock his creative energy so he can revise his novel, the lonely
Maria is thrilled for the chance to connect. As their bond grows, David
learns a profound secret about Maria's past that challenges their
relationship and teaches them both about the meaning of being a family.

Starring
in this production are: Carl Howell (1st National Tour: Prentiss PETER
AND THE STARCATCHER; Repertory Theatre of St. Louis: Laertes
HAMLET, Syracuse Stage: Clifford DEATHTRAP; Hudson Valley Shakespeare
Festival: Romeo ROMEO AND JULIET) as David, Cecelia Riddett (Mint
Theatre (NYC): Miss Smithers DIANA OF DOBSONS, Morningside Players
(NYC) Kate ALL MY SONS; Pittsburgh Public Theatre: Momo THE HUMANS;
Public Theatre Maine: Abby RIPCORD) as Maria, and Sebastian Buczyk (He
attended the New School for Film and Television and studied Meisner
Technique at Ward Studio and improv at UCB. His theater performances
include TWO FOR THE SEESAW, and LEGEND OF SARAH) as Zenon.

Previews
for The Revisionist are on April 11 and 12 with all tickets priced at
$17.50. Opening night is April 13 at 8pm with a complimentary wine and
cheese reception beginning at 7pm. Each Sunday matinee includes a
talkback with the cast and director. A special Tuesday matinee has been
planned for April 24 at 2pm, with all tickets priced at only $22.50!
