Charter Oak Photographic Society: Moments of Focus Exhibit
Images on display at Duncaster during November

“Charter Oak Photographic Society: Moments of Focus” will grace the walls of the Duncaster Art Gallery during November. There will be a reception on Nov 4 at 4:00 p.m. for some of the photographers. The exhibit will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. until Nov 30 at Duncaster, 40 Loeffler Rd, Bloomfield.
In The Charter Oak Society’s first exhibit at Duncaster they will display both color and black and white photos. Landscapes, nature, composites, still lifes, portraits and architectural shots will be included. The photographers come from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from professionals to a high school student.
The Charter Oak Photography Society provides its members with opportunities to broaden their photographic experience and develop their skills. The club has over 100 active members of all ages from across Connecticut. Some are professional photographers; most are dedicated amateurs. The club offers monthly competitions in a wide variety of categories, workshops, and guest presentations as well as frequent field trips and shooting opportunities.

Each month Duncaster showcases the work of different local artists. The exhibits are open to the public during business hours. The program reflects Duncaster’s commitment to encouraging creativity within the community.
