West Hartford Police: Child Hurt After Fall From Window
The incident happened on Farmington Avenue.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police this weekend are investigating an incidenet late Saturday afternoon in which a child was injured after a likely fall from a third-floor window.
The West Hartford Police Department said officers and West Hartford Fire Department responders rushed to a Farmington Avenue address just after 5:20 p.m. for a report of an injured child.
Police Saturday night said they are still investigating the cause and severity of the injuries, though a "preliminary investigation suggests the child may have suffered a fall from a third-floor window," according to a release issued at 7:59 p.m. Saturday.

In addition to the child, a parent/guardian was also transported to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said.
Police said no further information was available and the incident is still under investigation.
