Read details on the town's annual Christmas tree collection here.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — (From Town Hall): The annual Christmas tree collection program by the Public Works Department is underway and will run through Wednesday, Jan. 16. Residents in the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday refuse collection areas should have their trees at the curb by 6 a.m. for Christmas trees to be collected during the first week.

Crews will be making a sweep through the town twice and they may get ahead of schedule, weather permitting the collection will end on Wednesday, Jan. 16. The collection will conclude once DPW makes two passes through town.
The collection will proceed from the Monday refuse collection area into the Tuesday refuse collection area, then into the Wednesday refuse collection area and so on until crews make two complete passes of the town.
