Hamilton College, Clinton NY

  • Seven West Hartford residents were named to the Dean's List at Hamilton College for the 2019 fall semester. They are, with year, major and high school: Nicholas Becker, junior, Chinese and economics, Hall; John Burt, sophomore, Choate Rosemary Hall; Sophie Christensen, first-year student, Hall; Colebrooke Johnson, first-year student, Conard; Madeline Pavlovich, sophomore, Miss Porter's School; Eleanor Struthers, sophomore, Loomis Chaffee School; and Spencer Woolfson, senio, mathematics and physics, University High School of Science and Engineering. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.

  • Muhlenberg College encourages students in every major to study abroad while earning college credit towards their degree. In fact, 56 percent of Muhlenberg graduates from the Class of 2019 studied abroad at least once during their college career, and between 250 and 300 students study abroad each year. In fall 2019, Molly Menner, class of 2021, from West Hartford, attended FSU: Theatre Academy London in England.
