Assumption College, Worcester MA
- The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Emily LaSpada, of West Hartford, has been named to the women's swimming & diving team. LaSpada, Class of 2023, is competing during the Greyhounds' 2019-20 season, which began at the Northeast Catholic Invitational on Oct. 4 and 5.

- Twenty-seven Eastern Connecticut State University students are serving as student leaders at the Center for Community Engagement (CCE) this fall 2019 semester. The CCE coordinates community service programs across Willimantic. One of these student leaders is Colin Campagna of West Hartford, who majors in Physical Education. Campagna coordinates CCE programs for the Covenant Soup Kitchen and Windham Heights After School Program.
- Nearly 100 students are participating in Eastern Connecticut State University's highly selective University Honors Program this 2019-20 academic year. Among the students are four from West Hartford: Zoe Buntz, who majors in Business Administration and Economics and is in her fourth year in the program; Hannah Avena, who majors in Music and is in her fourth year; Hannah Beazoglou, who majors in Business Administration and is in her fourth year; and Joselyn Clark, who majors in Biology and is in her second year. The Honors Program accepts highly motivated and academically driven students. When accepted into the program, students are required to complete several additional classes, including a capstone course in which students complete a thesis based around their academic major.
Goodwin College, East Hartford CT
- Goodwin College's President's List for the summer 2019 session includes 230 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Honorees from West Hartford are Maria Botero, Cara Files, Jennifer Lemanski, Kelechi Orchingwa, Simone Rendon, Maureen Waller and Lindsey Walsh.

- Spencer Woolfson, of West Hartford (06107), is serving as the head peer tutor for physics in Hamilton's Quantitative & Symbolic Reasoning Center (QSR) this year. The mission of the QSR Center is to support students in the development of their academic skills, and to foster collaborative learning and intellectual growth. Woolfson, a senior majoring in mathematics and physics, is a graduate of University High School of Science and Engineering.
St. Lawrence University, Canton NY
- Kyler S. Cubbage of West Hartford has been selected for inclusion on St. Lawrence University's Dean's List for academic achievement during the spring 2019 semester. Cubbage is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in English. Cubbage attended Hall High School. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
