Bates College, Lewiston ME
- George Fiske, of West Hartford, graduated Magna Cum Laude after majoring in Chinese and minoring in physics and philosophy at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Fiske, the child of Carol Davis of West Hartford and Robert B. Fiske of West Hartford, is a 2015 graduate of Hall High School. Fiske graduates as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, an organization recognized as conferring the highest undergraduate academic honors and as the oldest Greek letter society in the U.S.
Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware OH

- James Peterson of West Hartford graduated this spring from Ohio Wesleyan University.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY
- Mikayla Stricklett of West Hartford graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in May 2019 with a BFA in industrial design. RIT conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May.

- Seven West Hartford residents were among 1,598 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2019 semester: Ryan Cudemus-Brunoli, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in society, technology and policy, and professional writing; Kate Olguin, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in interactive media and game development; Andy Moise, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in aerospace engineering; Jack Ruddat, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in electrical and computer engineering; Elleana Paradise, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in mechanical engineering; Shannon Truong, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in computer science; and Maya Flores, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in electrical and computer engineering. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.
