Crash Closes Busy West Hartford Roadway

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A busy West Hartford roadway is closed Wednesday afternoon after a single-vehicle accident on Route 185 (Simsbury Road), according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports a single-vehicle crash on the state roadway, with the closure taking place between King Edward Road and North Main Street.

The accident was first reported at 2:42 p.m., and it is "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.

The West Hartford Police Department urged folks to avoid the area.
