Crash That Closed I-84 Off-Ramps Cleared In West Hartford: UPDATE

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A crash closed both the eastbound and westbound Exit 43 off-ramps on Interstate 84 in West Hartford Wednesday morning, according to state transportation officials, but the scene is now cleared.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation reported the westbound Exit 43 off-ramp was closed because of a crash at 9:58 a.m.

About 10 minutes later, at 10:09 a.m., CTDOT reported the eastbound Exit 43 off-ramp was also closed due to the same incident.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the closures are lifted.

The crash is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
