WEST HARTFORD, CT — State Sen. Derek Slap, D-West Hartford, will discuss new state laws and senior citizen issues at a Tuesday, June 16, event at West Hartford's Bishops Corner Senior Center.

West Hartford residents will have an opportunity to hear about the recently completed legislative session and ask questions during a presentation by Slap.

Slap, who represents Connecticut's 5th State Senate District, will be the featured speaker at the West Hartford Senior Citizens Advisory Commission meeting at the Bishops Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., with Slap's presentation set for 11:15 a.m.
