The Day After: Hartford Recovers, Announces Closings
Sunday's snowstorm is mostly over, but the cleanup the day after has Hartford officials opting to close several municipal buildings.
HARTFORD, CT — In addition to public schools, several other City of Hartford facilities are closed or severely limited in terms of operations on Monday due to Sunday's snowstorm.
Due to the ongoing winter storm, Hartford City Hall is closed Monday, Jan. 26, with trash and recycling pickup proceeding on a delayed schedule this week, Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam said on social media.
Also closed are all Hartford Public Library locations, which were closed on Sunday, Jan. 25, and Monday, Jan. 26, due to inclement weather.
