DMV To Offer Myriad Services At West Hartford Library In One-Day Event
Connecticut DMV will provide licensing, REAL ID and registration renewal services at West Hartford's Faxon Branch Library on Aug. 6.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford residents will be able to access a variety of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles services without visiting a DMV office during a special community event at the Faxon Branch Library next month.
The West Hartford Public Library will host a DMV Community Event on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Faxon Branch Library, 1073 New Britain Ave.
The walk-in event will offer a range of DMV services, including:

- REAL ID upgrades
- Driver's license renewals and duplicate licenses
- New, renewed and duplicate non-driver identification cards
- Accessibility parking permits
- Vehicle registration renewals
- Resolution and payment of fines, tickets and suspensions
- Duplicate learner's permits
- Driver history reports
Standard DMV fees will apply for all eligible transactions.
The event will be walk-in only, with no appointments or registration required.

The DMV will not accept cash. Payments may be made using major credit and debit cards.
Library officials noted that the DMV may adjust its schedule during the event based on demand and available staffing.
