Eisenhower Pool To Open Saturday
The West Hartford pool will offer daily public swimming and adult lap swim, extending its season one week beyond its original closing date.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Eisenhower Pool will open Saturday, Aug. 8, and remain open daily through Sunday, Aug. 23, the Town of West Hartford announced Friday.
The closing date is a one-week extension from the pool’s originally scheduled Aug. 16 closure. The town’s other outdoor pools — Beachland, Fernridge and Kennedy — remain scheduled to close Aug. 16, according to the current outdoor-pool schedule.
Eisenhower Pool, at 13 Sheep Hill Drive, will be open on weekends from 10 to 11 a.m. for adult lap swimming and from 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. for public swimming.

Monday through Friday, adult lap swim will run from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by public swimming from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Daily admission is $5 for resident children and seniors, and $6 for resident adults. Nonresident admission is $7.50 for children and seniors and $9 for adults; children younger than 2 are admitted free. More information is available on the town’s outdoor pools page.
