10th Annual Bishop's 5K for Kids

The 10th Annual Bishops’ 5K for Kids will be held on May 14, 2011 at Webster Hill School, West Hartford. Check in starts at 8:00 AM. Children’s mini run begins at 9:15 AM; 5K run begins at 9:30 AM; Kids Field Day begins at 9:45 AM.  Join us at 9:00 AM for a 30-minute pre-run yoga warm up with Carole Horwell. Carole Horwell, a parishioner from St. Paul's, Windham Center and a fantastic yoga instructor has volunteered to offer 30 minutes of free yoga for prerace warm-up on the front lawn of Webster Hill Elementary school. Yoga is a fabulous way to prepare for the 5K and suitable for anyone ages 4 to 104! A towel or mat is a good idea for any yoga participant. No previous experience necessary. 

Pre-registration: $20 for adults (15 and up) and $10 for children.
On race day: $25 adults and $15 for children.

Register your children at the race for $10. Children will get an official Bishop's 5K for Kids t-shirt and prizes will be awarded. A wonderful way to encourage our children to get out there and get moving!
