Audition Day Preview is a free event for middle school students interested in auditioning for the Hartt School Community Division 2012-13 ensembles.

This program is designed to:

• give students a sneak-peek at our ensembles
• take the mystery out of our audition process
• invite students into a welcoming environment to work with our faculty on audition materials

This is a great opportunity created for students who are auditioning for the first time for The Hartt School Community Division ensemble program. This jam-packed session for middle school students is designed so that these students may see The Hartt School Community Division in action first-hand while meeting other young musicians. Students will observe rehearsals, participate in a music theory class, and work on their solo piece, scales, and sight-reading techniques with faculty.

Note: Students should come prepared with the piece they are considering for their Hartt School Community Division ensemble audition.
