Auditions, The Main Street Singers community children's chorus

The Main Street Singers community children's chorus founded in 2003 and based at South Church in the heart of downtown New Britain invites children in grades 2-8 to try out for one of their two singing groups.  Try-outs: Thursday, Sept. 13, 4:30-6:00 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 15, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at 90 Main Street in New Britain.  We offer a Junior Choir for children in grades 2-4 and a Senior Choir for children in grades 5-8.  Try-out song is "Happy Birthday," and you may also sing a short song of your choice.  Rehearsals are held on Thursdays, 4:45-6:00 p.m., and will begin on Sept. 20.  Call 860-223-3691, ext. 123 for an appointment, or email neaton@southchurch.org .
