On Tuesday, August 21st at 6:00 pm, Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Blue Back Square will welcome Connecticut author Matthew Dicks to discuss and sign copies of his latest book, Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend on the day of its release. The book has garnered praise from New York Times bestselling authors Jodi Picoult and Eleanor Brown. The event is free and open to the public.Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend is a heartwarming story that touches on the truths of life, love, and friendship. The book is narrated by Budo, imaginary friend to 8-year old Max. Budo knows that one day he'll disappear when Max stops believing in him. For now though, Budo loves and protects Max who has Asperger's Syndrome. But Budo finds he can't protect him from everyone.
