Junior Golf Clinic Held at Rockledge Golf Course With Travelers Championship PGA Tour

The Connecticut Section PGA Golf Foundation <http://ctpga.com/golffoundation/> has announced that they will again be sponsoring the appearances of PGA TOUR professionals at area courses to conduct junior golf clinics during the Travelers Championship <http://www.travelerschampionship.com/> week. This year there will be eight Travelers Championship PGA TOUR Professional Junior Golf Clinics held at eight area golf facilities, all of them taking place simultaneously at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22. Rockledge Golf Course was selected again this year as one of the host sites.  “For the second consecutive year, we will be partnering with the Travelers Championship to help bring visiting PGA TOUR professionals out into the community,” said Jim Bedus, PGA Foundation Secretary, who made the announcement during the Walter Lowell PGA Tournament at Clinton Country Club. “Each site will host a 30-minute junior golf clinic followed by a 15-minute autograph session,” he said. The participating PGA TOUR professionals and the courses that they will be assigned to will be announced the morning of the clinics.
