Join artist and furniture maker Ted Esselstyn as he tells the story behind City Bench (www.city-bench.com.) City Bench is a company that turns reclaimed trees into beautiful pieces of furniture that “keep the tree in the wood.” Each piece comes with its own story of origin. Learn how two brothers decided to “upcycle” a perceived waste product by creating sustainable, unique and meaningful furniture and see a slideshow of their work.
The program will be held in the Noah Webster Library meeting room, 20 South Main Street. Park in the nearby Isham Garage and bring your ticket to the event for validation. Call 860-561-8214 for more information.
