WEST HARTFORD, CT — One Democratic state representative serving portions of West Hartford, Farmington and Avon is guaranteed her first full, two-year term this Tuesday.

That's because state Rep. Tammy Exum, D-West Hartford, is running unopposed in the 19th House District this year after winning a special election in 2019.

She is the former vice chairperson of the West Hartford Board of Education and is a founding member of the West Hartford Special Education PTA, according to her online biography.
