Fair Housing Forum Slated In West Hartford

With multiple housing developments on the Town of West Hartford's horizon, the town is hosting a forum July 12 on fair housing laws.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town is inviting the public to attend a special, fair housing workshop on Wednesday, July 12, in West Hartford.

The special event is especially noteworthy given the high number of West Hartford housing developments being pitched or being built in town.

It will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Elmwood Community Center's Room 29, 1106 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.

Attendees will learn about their rights as a tenant and obtain the latest information regarding fair housing practices in Connecticut.

This conversation is in collaboration with the Town of West Hartford Social Services Department and Rashida Rattray, community education and outreach coordinator of the Connecticut Fair Housing Center.
