WEST HARTFORD/FARMINGTON, CT — A convicted sex offender from Farmington was charged twice in consecutive days last week with exposing himself in public in West Hartford.

According to the West Hartford Police Department Tuesday, Wojeiech Warzynski, 43, of Farmington, was charged Oct. 10 on a warrant for one count of breach of peace after police said he exposed himself on a hiking trail in town in front of women on Oct. 9.

For this charge, he was released on a $20,000 bond and was awaiting a court date.

The following day, Oct. 11, Warzynski was again charged by the WHPD, this time after police said he was in the bushes at a West Hartford cul-de-sac "possibly masturbating" one day after being charged in the other incident.

For the second incident, police said Warzynski was charged with second-degree breach of peace; simple trespassing; and second-degree violation of conditions of release.

He is now being held on $750,000 bond in connection with the Oct. 11 incident, police said.

According to the WHPD, their investigation of the man started Oct. 9, when police received multiple reports of a male acting suspiciously in the MDC Reservoir area at 1420 Farmington Ave.

It was reported a male approached two different women walking at the reservoir and was fondling himself as he approached the women.

Police quickly identified Warzynski as a suspect in that incident and said he was on the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry.

Warzynski was out on bond at the time of the first incident for violation of probation after previously exposing himself to other people prior, police said.

This prompted police to take him into custody on Oct. 10, the WHPD reported.

The following day, after he was released from custody, police said Warzynski Oct. 11 was the subject of another complaint.

In the second instance, police said they received complaints of a man fondling himself and "possibly masturbating" in the bushes at a neighborhood cul-de-sac.

Officers arrived on the scene and immediately recognized Warzynski for his charges the day before.

As a result, Warzynski was again taken into custody and processed at the WHPD.
