Town Council recently voted to amend the city's ruling on food trucks.

WEST HARTFORD, CT - The West Hartford Town Council voted Tuesday to amend the city’s ruling on food trucks, Fox 61 reported.

Food trucks will be able to set up along New Park Avenue under the new ordinance, according to Fox 61. Vendors previously were not allowed on right of way streets prior to the vote.

The ordinance also says that trucks can not be parked within 500 feet of a brick and mortar restaurant, Fox 61 reported. Most opposition to the change came mainly from restaurant owners.
