Free Outdoor Movie Night Coming To West Hartford's Faxon Library

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford residents can bring their lawn chairs to the Faxon Library Friday night for a free outdoor movie and popcorn.

The library will host an outdoor screening of the animated movie "GOAT" on Friday, Aug. 28, from 7:45 to 10 p.m. at the Faxon Library, 1073 New Britain Ave.

Attendees may begin setting up their lawn chairs at 7 p.m., with the movie scheduled to start at 7:45 p.m.

The PG-rated film follows a small goat who dreams of becoming a professional athlete and gets an opportunity to play "roarball," a fictional co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by some of the world's fastest and fiercest animals.

Free popcorn will be available during the event.

Registration is required in advance through the West Hartford Public Library's online event calendar.
