Free Program About Treatment Options for Acid Reflux

Duncaster will host a free program about treatment options for those suffering from acid reflux on Monday, September 18 at 3 p.m. Kenneth Schwartz, MD will be presenting on the topic. This program is part of Duncaster’s monthly series, “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging.” The presentation will take place on Duncaster’s campus, located at 40 Loeffler Road. The event is open to the public, however, pre-registration is required.

Dr. Schwartz will be presenting new, minimally invasive surgical interventions that are helping people find relief for acid reflux. These new innovations are allowing people to get off medications after years of suffering.

Dr. Kenneth Schwartz is a surgeon in Meriden, Connecticut and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Hospital of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center. He is an acid reflux specialist with expertise in the surgical management of this chronic and often times debilitating disease. Dr. Schwartz completed his general surgical residency training at the Hospital of St Raphael in New Haven, CT and received fellowship training in advanced minimally invasive surgery at Jackson Memorial Health System in Miami, FL. Dr Schwartz is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
