Greater Hartford Host Lions Club Requests High School Seniors to Apply For Scholarships

Scholarships are available for high school seniors from the Greater Hartford Host Lions Club and the club is looking for new members.

The Greater Hartford Host Lions Club is proud to offer two $2500.00 Lowenberg Scholarship awards to graduating high school seniors entering a two or four year college or university. Applications must reside in Hartford, East Hartford, Windsor, Bloomfield, Newington, West Hartford, or Wethersfield. The selection criteria includes financial need and academic excellence. The Club is looking for new members who would like to give back to the community and enjoy themselves while doing it! They support the American School for the Deaf, The Village for Families and Children, the Connecticut Radio Information Service for the Blind (CRIS), give free eye screenings, and much more. Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at the American Legion Post 96 in Blue Back Square. Please join them at the American School for the Deaf on Sunday, April 30th from 8AM to 12PM for their Annual Pancake Breakfast, which includes a full breakfast buffet and which funds the scholarship program.
