Grinched: West Hartford Family Fears Christmas Lights were Snipped by Vandals

The lights are now difficult to replace and have survived a number of moves.

WEST HARTFORD, CT - A family in West Hartford is afraid their Christmas lights were snipped by vandals, NBC Connecticut reported.

The Morris family’s house on Colony Road has put up gumdrop looking lights for about 16 years, according to NBC Connecticut. The lights are now difficult to replace and have survived a number of moves.

The strands of lights were found to have two cuts to them, which police attribute to most likely be the work of vandals, NBC Connecticut reported. Police told the family they will be keeping an eye out during patrols for any type of vandalism.
