Hartford Man Tasered, Arrested in West Hartford

Keith Lamar Brown, 34, faces several charges after fleeing police in Sept. 2 incident.

A Hartford man was tasered by West Hartford police after a brief foot pursuit and arrested on Sept. 2.

Keith Lamar Brown, 34, of Granby Street in Hartford, was observed driving in West Hartford with front end damage on his vehicle, according to police.

The vehicle then proceeded into Hartford where it crashed and Brown allegedly fled from the vehicle before being apprehended, according to police.

Brown was arrested on charges of reckless driving, operating with a suspended registration/license, possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana, failure to bring motor vehicle to a full stop when signaled and interfering with an officer. He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 11.

Brown was also arrested on a valid South Windsor prawn warrant for second-degree failure to appear.
