West Hartford's Health Department Reaches Out With Newsletter

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The two-town health department serving West Hartford this month has unveiled a new newsletter that aims to provide folks with necessary information to stay healthy.

The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District doesn't have a fancy name for its newsletter — "The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District Newsletter" — but it does feature plenty of information to keep folks safe and sound.

For example, February's main focus is American Heart Month and it features seven ways people can have a heart-healthy lifestyle.

In addition, the newsletter promotes health district events and clinics and it includes profiles of staff members.

Basically, the health district — headquartered at 580 Cottage Road, Suite 100, Bloomfield — wants people in both West Hartford and Bloomfield to know they're out there and working to keep people healthy.
