Steely Dan meets the Eagles (tributes) at Garde Arts Center in New London on November 1st!

The Garde Arts Center in New London, CT is proud to host an amazing combination of music! Steely Dan and the Eagles who were known to have had a verbal battle inside their lyrics have never shared the stage! However, on November 1strd, tributes to the 2 most amazing acts in American music will break the streak! Hey Nineteen- Tribute to Steely Dan and A. Tequila Sunrise- Eagles Tribute will be bringing it to you!

Steely Dan wrote “turn up the Eagles the neighbors are listening”, soon after the Eagles responded with “stabbed it with their Steely knives but they just can’t kill the beast!” Ironically, Tim Schmidt who played bass and sang background vocals on early Steely Dan records, later became the bass player and vocalist for the Eagles. Meanwhile, the bass player/ vocalist for Another Tequila Sunrise has recently become the bass player/vocalist for Hey Nineteen!

A. TEQUILA SUNRISE has been performing to sell-out crowds all over the country for nearly thirteen years. The thunderous applause and standing ovations emphasize that this group is the premiere Eagles Tribute band of the USA. Performing complete album sets to solo material from Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh. This group offers a sophisticated performance ranging from soaring ballads to heavy rockers, with sweet vocal harmonies and jangling guitars; they cover it all! “A. Tequila Sunrise” captures the musical experience of the Eagles and beyond.
