They share a location with local staple Old Town Bar and patrons of the bar can order Luna Pizza’s famous crispy crust pizza, wings and other special bar favorites such as burgers and wraps.
Customers can also place takeout and delivery orders and enjoy patio seating outside in the warmer months.
To celebrate their second location, MacDonald is hosting a press and grand opening party on Friday, Jan. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Luna Pizza within the Old Town Bar location, 187 Main St., Wethersfield.
Wethersfield Mayor Michael Rell will be in attendance, along with members of the Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce.
The first Luna Pizza restaurant opened on Franklin Avenue in Hartford’s Little Italy.
The Franklin Avenue location closed when Luna Pizza moved to West Hartford in 2008 at 999 Farmington Ave. under the new ownership of Alex MacDonald and his mom, Angie.
